Evergreen's Got Talent raises record amount for Operation Homefront

Evergreen doesn't just have talent, Evergreen's Got Talent and a very generous patriotic spirit! Held May 6, 2017, last Saturday night's event opened to a packed house at The Wild Game Entertainment Experience in Evergreen. This year marks the 5th annual EGT, and next year promises to be EVEN better. Look for this next event in August 2018.

Evergreen's Got Talent is a fundraiser for Operation Homefront, a national philanthropic organization that assists military families in need.  The closest OH office is in Colorado Springs, and the Program Director, Christine White was in attendance at the event to see just what the buzz is all about! EGT raised $4,224.03 this year with 100% of the donations received at EGT are sent directly to Operation Homefront.  The amount is $1,500 more than last year.

The performers were as follows: Alexandra Purcell; Hannah Davis; Will Fesenmeyer; Hannah Provalenko; Caroline Murray; Charlie Harris, Mitchell Gardener & Cole Fulton; Ella Howell; Madisyn Genender & Sierra Gilman; Maddie Toews; Kaia Podd & Company; Cameron Podd; Claire Donlan & Shea Linkner; and the Sometime Soon Band ~ Cache Semmens, Joe Setlak, Kyle Morman & Zack Miller.

The fundraising winners are:

  • 1st place ~ Hannah Davis
  • 2nd place ~ Charlie Harris, Mitchell Gardener & Cole Fulton
  • 3rd place ~ Caroline Murray
