Evergreen High School Performing Arts’ spring musical, "Into the Woods," begins this week with shows on March 16th, 17th & 18th at 7 pm with a special matinee performance on March 18th at 2 pm. The show is an enchanting, hilarious and touching musical filled with colorful actors and memorable music.

"Into the Woods" is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales in a musical format that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel…all brought together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and the curse placed upon them by a wicked witch.

The show is directed by Scott Ogle, who performs regularly with Evergreen Players with musical direction from Kirsten Carpenter, who also performs locally with StageDoor and others. Scott and Kirsten are complemented by Wiley Cruse, who directs the orchestra. Scott, Kirsten, Wiley and the entire cast and crew have been working diligently since November to bring you a performance that is not to be missed!
